New Pyth Data Provider: Gate.io

We are excited to have Gate.io, one of the oldest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, joining the Pyth Network in order to contribute to the expansion of the global DeFi ecosystem.

Who is Gate.io?

• Founded in 2013, the platform is one of the oldest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world and serves today over 6 million users, offering over 1,700 trading pairs with 1,000 different cryptocurrencies listed on the main exchange.

• In addition to cryptocurrency trading, the Gate.io ecosystem also has an investment arm, Gate Ventures, a native blockchain ecosystem in GateChain, an NFT marketplace in NFT Magic Box, and a DeFi platform known as Hipo DeFi.

Proven Track Record:

• Since September 2021, daily spot volumes traded on Gate.io have continuously surpassed $1B, with a peak at $2.8B.

Through the partnership, Gate.io will provide real-time cryptocurrency data to the Pyth Network.
