Pyth Launches Price Oracles on Evmos

We’re delighted to reveal that Pyth’s low-latency pull oracles are now available on EVMOS, an application-agnostic chain that is interoperable with the Ethereum Mainnet, EVM-compatible environments, and other BFT chains via IBC.

Developers on EVMOS can now fully access Pyth’s 250+ price feeds for equities, commodities, foreign exchange pairs, and digital assets. Tashi Finance, a new decentralized money-market protocol on EVMOS, is excited to set an example for the ecosystem and become #PoweredByPyth. It’s our honor to provide real-time oracle infrastructure for the EVMOS developer ecosystem and empower the next generation of Web3 financial services.

"Excited to have Pyth Network join the Evmos ecosystem!" commented Federico Kunze Küllmer, Co-Founder & Director. "With 250+ real-time price feeds and a low-latency pull oracle, this integration brings us closer to our mission of achieving cross-chain dApp composability."

"Pyth stands out not only for its dedication to becoming a first choice for builders who are looking for low-latency price feeds for their project but also for its exceptional communication with partners," said Kristine Boulton, Co-founder & CEO of Tashi Labs Foundation. "Working hand-in-hand with Pyth has been a seamless experience, as they prioritize transparency and regularly engage with us to help educate our communities. Their commitment to our success has been unwavering, making us feel valued and supported."

Pyth on EVMOS

The Pyth Network introduces an innovative low-latency pull oracle design, where users are empowered to “pull” price updates on-chain when needed, enabling everyone in that blockchain environment to access that data point. Builders on EVMOS can permissionlessly access any of the Pyth’s 250+ price feeds for equities, commodities, foreign exchange pairs, and cryptocurrency.

Tashi Finance, is a new decentralized money-market protocol on EVMOS, that leverages the Pyth’s price feeds.  By integrating with Pyth and its low-latency pull oracles, Tashi can easily and efficiently ensure that the prices available and consumed on-chain are matching with the greater market.

Evmos is the leading Ethereum Virtual Machine-based blockchain in the Cosmos ecosystem and enables developers to launch apps that run interoperable smart contracts across any number of EVM and Cosmos-based blockchains. It makes that process as simple and seamless as possible by allowing developers to continue creating apps in Solidity and Vyper like they're accustomed to in the Ethereum ecosystem. Evmos opens a new frontier for blockchain applications, expanding the functionality of the EVM by enabling cross-chain applications that tap the liquidity and user bases of multiple blockchain ecosystems to provide more unified experiences through interoperability, novel token economics and in-protocol incentives for users, developers and validators.

The Pyth Network is the largest first-party financial oracle network delivering real-time market data to over 25 blockchains securely and transparently.

The network comprises some of the world’s largest exchanges, market makers, and financial services providers publishing their proprietary price data on-chain for aggregation and distribution to smart contract applications.

In less than a year, the network secured more than $2.0B in total value. Pyth has facilitated more than $50B in trading volume and received over 1M client downloads from passionate developers. Pyth supports 250+ low-latency price feeds across digital assets, equities, ETFs, forex pairs, and commodities. You can learn more about Pyth from their website and documentation.
