Pyth Price Feeds Launch on Injective inEVM

Pyth Price Feeds are now live on Injective inEVM, the first rollup to hyperscale concurrent VM development. This deployment follows the launch of the Pyth Price Feeds on Injective mainnet in April 2023.

Smart contract developers on the newly-launched inEVM can now access and build with 450+ low-latency price feeds for cryptocurrencies, commodities, foreign exchange pairs, and even equities and exchange-traded funds. Pyth Price Feeds are already securing a few of decentralized applications launching on mainnet on Injective inEVM.

“Pyth Price Feeds play a pivotal role in developing the rapidly growing inEVM ecosystem. inEVM’s ability to empower Ethereum developers with true composability across Solana and Cosmos provides access to developers building innovative DeFi applications,” shared Eric Chen, CEO and co-founder of Injective Labs. “Pyth is a long-term contributor to Injective, and we are pleased to see it continuing to be utilized for inEVM.”

Pyth Price Feeds on Injective inEVM

Pyth Price Feeds are now live on the inEVM DeFi ecosystem. Smart contract developers on inEVM will benefit from permissionless access to over 450 data feeds across digital and traditional asset classes. More specifically, Pyth’s low-latency price feed infrastructure can power a wide range of DeFi applications, from perpetual trading to derivatives, as well as borrow/lending and stablecoin protocols.

Pyth Network introduces a specialized pull oracle design which empowers smart contract applications to request or pull price updates from the Pythnet appchain on demand. This architecture ensures that downstream users have reliable access to the most recent price updates while also benefitting from high-frequency and high-resolution prices.

Injective is a lightning fast interoperable layer one blockchain optimized for building the premier Web3 finance applications. Injective provides developers with powerful plug-and-play modules for creating unmatched dApps. INJ is the native asset that powers Injective and its rapidly growing ecosystem. Injective is incubated by Binance and is backed by prominent investors such as Jump Crypto, Pantera, and Mark Cuban.

Injective inEVM

inEVM is the first-ever Ethereum Virtual Machine capable of achieving true composability across Cosmos and Solana. The inEVM network was developed as a collaboration between Injective and Caldera.

With inEVM, Ethereum developers gain unprecedented access to Injective’s global network and user base, offering a new realm of opportunities to expand the reach of their protocols.

Pyth Network is a first-party financial data oracle network which delivers low-latency price data for various assets to blockchains securely.

Pyth incentivizes some of the world’s largest exchanges, market makers, and trading firms to contribute their proprietary data to the network. Pyth aggregates their price data on-chain for smart contract to use. Decentralized applications can request or pull Pyth price updates on-chain when needed.

In less than a year, the network has secured more than $2.0B in total value and now supports over $3.0B. Pyth supports over 450 real-time data feeds across crypto, equities, ETF’s, FX pairs, and commodities, and has facilitated more than $120B in total trading volume across over 50 blockchain ecosystems.
