Data-Driven 2023: Pyth Developer Conference

We are thrilled to announce the debut of Data-Driven 2023. This two-day online conference offers a deep dive into the Pyth Network’s initiatives and advancements, and the opportunity to hear from thought leaders and builders from the Pyth community and wider DeFi ecosystem.

The Pyth oracle network is home to DeFi project founders, teams and DAOs building decentralized applications, institutional market participants, and blockchain infrastructure providers. Data-Driven 2023 is an immersive way to learn what these industry pioneers and visionaries are working on.

A Glimpse into the Agenda

Day 1 will kick off with a keynote by Mike Cahill, CEO of Douro Labs. Mike will look back at the growth of the Pyth Network and how the world’s largest and fastest-growing first-party oracle network has transformed the capabilities of DeFi today.

Afterwards, Jayant Krishnamurthy, CTO of Douro Labs, will walk the audience through the Pyth Network’s product lines, including Pyth Price Feeds and Pyth Benchmarks. His presentation also offers a rare glimpse into what his team is working on behind the scenes.

Major DeFi partners and data providers are lined up throughout Day 1, including of course, the power users of Pyth data. Viewers can look forward to keynotes from Synthetix, Injective, Kwenta, Wormhole, Vela Exchange, and many more.

On Day 2, Mike and Jayant hit the stage again with two more keynotes. Mike will kick-off with an analysis of the Pyth Network data model and the business logic behind the cross-chain pull oracle design. His presentation will finish off with reflections on what it means to build a self-sustainable and truly decentralized oracle.

Jayant’s second keynote will focus on Pyth Governance, its significance for the stakeholder community, and the potential scope of community governance proposals, from oracle update fees to reward distribution to data providers.

You can look forward to hearing more from the Pyth Network’s data provider community, with speakers from LTP, Wintermute, Gate, Auros, MEXC and more. Viewers should also look out for presentations from infrastructure players like Gelato Network and fast-growing DeFi platforms like HMX. Thematic panels with notable figures from major blockchain ecosystems, as well as some of the most active Web3 venture capital firms, will be revealed in due course.
