Pyth Launches Price Oracles on Linea

We’re proud to announce that the Pyth’s low-latency pull oracles are now available on Linea mainnet alpha. Linea developers can permissionlessly access over 250 price feeds to build the future of on-chain finance and join the largest first-party oracle network.

Linea’s mainnet alpha introduces groundbreaking user experience, an ecosystem of 100+ of protocols, partners, dApps and user-friendly integrations. Leading Web3 services like MetaMask will make it possible for Linea users to enjoy an exciting variety of curated Web3 features.

We look forward to supporting DeFi leaders across the Linea developer community. The launch of Pyth oracles on Linea is a significant milestone towards growing the broader zkEVM ecosystem and liberating financial market data for builders globally.

"We are thrilled to have Pyth’s low-latency pull oracles now available on Linea mainnet alpha. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the growth of the broader zkEVM ecosystem, as it enables Linea developers to access over 250 price feeds and build the future of on-chain finance. Together, we are liberating once-inaccessible financial data for builders globally and supporting the vibrant DeFi community within the Linea ecosystem,“ said Nicolas Liochon, Global Product Lead for Linea.

Linea

Linea Mainnet is a zkEVM rollup network launched by Consensys. It offers groundbreaking user experience and scalability for Ethereum. Some of its key features include an ecosystem of over 100 protocols, partners, dApps, and user-friendly integrations with leading Web3 products like MetaMask. It provides curated Web3 features, fast finality, low gas fees, high throughput, and low latency for DeFi applications, NFTs, gaming, and social apps. The mainnet also introduces upgrades such as a new outer-proof system, batch conflation, and a dynamic fee mechanism to manage changes in L1 gas fees.

The testnet phase of Linea was highly successful, with 5.4 million unique wallets supporting over 43 million transactions in just three months and making Linea one of the largest active projects on Goerli. This achievement demonstrates the substantial growth and adoption of Linea in the blockchain community.
