After a landmark month for the Pyth Network in November, December 2023 showed no sign of slowing down.
The Pyth ecosystem surged in growth across all aspects: nearly twenty new dApp integrations, a dozen price feeds launched, four new blockchains integrated, three new data providers onboarded, and a 10M cross-chain price updates delivered—all in one month.
We’re pleased to welcome so many household names, including Movement Labs, Trader Joe, Folkvang, Mummy Finance, and Cetus to the Pythian family this holiday month. Many #PoweredByPyth partners celebrated new milestones in trading volume and feature launches, all made possible thanks to Pyth Data.
Santa and the Pythia brought presents with them too. First is the establishment of the Pyth Governance protocol layer, which now puts the future of the Pyth Network and ecosystem in the hands of the community. The Pyth contributors also recognize the importance of creating a transparent, intuitive, and inclusive social layer. Stay tuned on these matters through the official social channels.
The second tidings came from Data-Driven 2023, the inaugural Pyth Network ecosystem and developers conference. Two full days of keynotes and industry panels by blockchain foundations, exchange operators, DeFi founders, and thought leaders abound. Mike Cahill and Jayant Krishnamurthy kicked off the conference with their keynotes on the Pyth Network’s progress since April 2021, the Pyth product line and its newest developments, and what it means to build a truly sustainable oracle network. All presentations were recorded and will be released throughout January.
To all the newcomers to the Pyth Network wondering where all of this is headed: welcome aboard, and buckle up. This community of builders and experts has been around longer than you might expect. To our long-time supporters, advocates, ambassadors, and ecosystem contributors—thank you for all of your support throughout 2023.
